SSME CS Senior Service Logistics Officer SI

Mission/

Position Headline:

The scope of Service Logistics Officer SI including source & inventory management/ 

planning support / lifecycle management / Warranty Management/ China process. For all 

defined service parts from suppliers in the AP region, the colleague will handle planning, 

sourcing and lifecycle activities on behalf of Siemens Healthineers BA, e.g. for CT, AX, MR 

etc. The colleague will take care planning operations for CSML inventory stored in AP 

region location WH as well as the planning technical support interface to specific local 

stock counties. In addition, the colleague needs to handle the source, plan, deliver and 

return source function under CS ML China process, covering parts that originate within 

China for the Chinese market.

Areas of 

Responsibilities:

1. Handling of sourcing activities from suppliers in AP for service parts.

2. Handling of lifecycle management activities (service parts available before new 

product ramp up/ Last time buy) to ensure the parts availability.

3. Planning collaboration with global planning expert team base on defined guidelines. 

4. Warranty management for AP vendor related warranty settings, reporting support.

5. Handling of sourcing, deliver and returns activities for parts originating in China for 

domestic China customers.

Dimension of 

Function/Volume:

1. Sourcing service parts from AP suppliers, ensuring service parts availability and fulfill 

KPI targets on inventory, turn over rate, etc…

2. Support service part escalations together with national and international partners 

3. Align with new product related stakeholders to ensure the new service parts 

availability at the D4.

4. Calculating and sourcing "last time buys" for parts that are no longer available from 

suppliers to cover the demand until EOS (end of service).

5. Local stock planning technical support for RUs in AP based on related SLA.

6. Inventory planning under the guideline scope which can be stored in CS ML AP 

consignment/RDC.

7. Working actively on planning solutions to improve stock performance and inventory 

optimization.

8. Taking care of warranty feedback process setting, reporting and other operation or UAT 

related supporting. 

9. Ramping up/ Phasing out service parts in China scope base on defined criteria.

10. Plan, source, deliver and return source handling on service parts originating from 

China domestic suppliers to the Siemens Healthcare service organization within China.

11. Leading/ Supporting on above business oriented initiatives or projects to continue the 

process optimization
