This is a role wellsuited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As a Senior Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing North America(including Canada, Puerto Rico) Payroll process for large complex Business.Driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in terms of user andcustomer satisfaction, compliance, quality, cost, and efficiency adhering tolegal and internal guidelines. The role supervises the respective teams andmonitors workflow and relevant KPI’s to ensure quality and standards as well asa seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages Payroll process on a regional level and drives for high performance, strong customer focus and service-oriented culture.
  • Over sees all payroll, payroll tax, payroll accounting, Time and Attendance and Shadow payroll
  • Ensures effective resource allocation, defines/applies county KPIs and deploys KPI/based service performance monitoring.
  • Works closely with legal to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensures payroll documentation is complete, up to date and in compliance with standards and requirements.
  • Oversee payroll audit activities.
  • Lead, coach and motivate team.
  • Monitors customers' and users' needs, expectations, and key business drivers.
  • Defines and/or implements/maintains and continuously enhances standard operational processes.
  • Ensures effective knowledge and best practice sharing across the service delivery organization.
  • Drives and/or supports development, implementation, and improvement of regional IT solutions.
  • Coordinates and/or consults with external service providers and monitors their performance against respective SLAs.
  • Manages special projects including carve-in and carve-outs.
  • Manages escalations.

 Skills/competencies

  • Demonstrated professional experience in all areas of Payroll, payroll tax, tax accounting, Time Management, and shadow payroll.
  • Strong leadership shills
  • Strong HR IS/Payroll systems knowledge.
  • Solid professional judgement and problem-solving competence and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to manage confidential information.
  • Strong Customer Service Focus
  • Transfers and applies knowledge in various contexts.
