Overview:
Siemens Mobility, Inc. Rolling Stockis seeking a professional Senior Commercial Project Manager with a proven trackrecord of leading international sophisticated projects to work in ourSacramento, CA facility.
The Senior Commercial ProjectManager will be responsible for the execution of a Passenger Coach project ofcirca $500+M in value and duration from 5-8 years. You will be responsible forcommercial project execution during phases including planning, design,procurement, manufacturing, commissioning, and customer acceptance. Dutiesinclude collaborating closely with operational departments to ensure OrderIncome Calculation is achieved while meeting goals for customer happiness,cost, schedule, and quality. Another key role is to fulfill the role of theWorld Project Controller to ensure financial compliance across the project andsubprojects. The Senior Commercial Project Manager is the supporting functionof the Project Manager for all aspects of the project. This position reports tothe Director, FBA, and Passenger Coaches/Trainsets.
Responsibilities:
- Profit & loss for assigned projects.
- Proactively handle changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and devise contingency plans from a cost perspective.
- Supervise and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and customers.
- Support PM with the development and delivery of monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal/external customers.
- Coach, mentor, empower, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Support with identifying and resolving issues/conflicts within the project team.
- Support customer sales channel activities
RequiredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Required education: College diploma or equivalent experience required. PMI Certification.
- Required experience: 5+ years of successful Project Management experience in sophisticated projects.
- Some travel is required
- Excellent commercial, oral, and written communication skills; must be able to demonstrate presentation skills.
PreferredKnowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Preferred education: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
- Preferred experience: demonstrated ability related to the rolling stock industry is helpful.
- Other preferences:
- Experience in controlling and accounting, contracts, and claims experience with rail vehicle commercial project management preferred.

Detailsregarding our benefits can be found here: https://www.benefitsquickstart.com/siemens/index.html.The base salary range in Sacramento, CA, is $141,500 - $191,500 with an annualincentive target of 15% of the base salary. The salary may be higher orlower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge,skills, and qualifications.
