At our factorynetwork, comprised of two production sites Buzias, Romania and Bad Neustadt,Germany, Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the globalmarket. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in theautomotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics. To further drive oursuccessful growth, we will expand the Buzias location in a targeted manner overthe next few years. The topics of digitalization and simulations support us inplanning for the future and in implementation.

Based in Buzias, for our factory network we arelooking for a Expert for Testing Technology and Digitalisation that helpsus to manage and optimize our processes for our Buzias (Romania) productionsite and that also closely collaborates with our Bad Neustadt (Germany)production site.

What part willyou play?

·       You will managethe complex testing system of our growing electric motors manufacturing inBuzias.

·       In addition to troubleshooting, this also includescalibrating and upgrading testing systems.

·       When expanding our capacities, you will act asproject manager and will be involved in testing systems and testing equipmentprocurement.

·       We are continually developing, so you will also beinvolved in the development, testing and rollout of software for our testingsystems.

·       Together with our central DEV/OPS team, you willdevelop and implement data-based use cases for testing and manufacturingsystems.

·       You will connect machines and sensors to our dataecosystem and continuously develop it further with your feedback.

·       You support the decision-making and optimizationprocesses in our factory based on visualization, data engineering and dataanalytics.

What you need tomake real what matters.

· You havesuccessfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics.

· Alternatively,you have comparable training and many years of professional experience.

· You have initialexperience with medium-level programming language (C++, Python…) and you enjoyworking with large data sets and modern technologies such as AI and ML.

· If you alreadyhave knowledge in automation technology, power electronics, drive technologyand sensors, that is an advantage.

· Very goodproficiency in English and / or German (spoken & written) is an absolutemust to this role since you work in an international environment.

· Able to workautonomously and be a proactive problem solver with effective problemidentification and solution skills
