Mission:
By combining a profound knowledge of finance and related end-2-end processes with deep technical know-how and a fresh thinking with respect to problem solving, we provide state of the art IT solutions, services and platforms for finance and sustainability departments with a focus on reporting and disclosure for the Siemens group.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Major challenges await around financial reporting and the disclosure for the annual financial report and the sustainability report. In addition, challenges posed by the migration and redesign of the Siemens ERP landscape to S/4 HANA and the planned redesign of the group reporting solution need to be mastered. Beyond that a large variety of requirements is emerging in the area of sustainability which need to be supported by IT. We are therefore looking for support in financial and sustainability reporting who can design and implement innovative solutions in these domains.
- Contribute as solution architect to a new solution for group consolidation with a focus on the internal and external financial reporting topics and the respective disclosure (e.g., annual financial report)
- Contribute as solution architect in the sustainability area and support the implementation of various regulatory requirements
- Design and develop reporting and analytics solutions (in the context of SAP BW/4, S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Snowflake)
- You envision, design, and implement architectures and data models optimized for the integration of various, heterogenous data sources. You extend our service offering by business intelligence and reporting solutions to effectively deal with the new non-financial reporting requirements like the EU Taxonomy
- Constantly provide innovations to improve or enhance analytics related solutions and service offering also utilizing the capabilities of artificial intelligence
- Provide added value via groundbreaking data analytics initiatives / projects
- Manage and coordinate external partners and communicate with various business stakeholders for the successful completion of projects and changes in existing solutions
This requires especially the following skills:
- Functional knowledge in finance and especially on closing process (IFRS & HGB and respective reporting and disclosure requirements)
- Technical and related functional know-how in SAP S/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, SAP BW/4, Snowflake as well as SAP Disclosure Management or similar tools (Amana, Workiva)
- Strong engineering/analytical skills
- Profound data expertise (modelling, analytics, prediction)
- Solid project management experience
- Good communication skills and understanding of financial process and disclosure process for close and strong collaboration with our key customers
- Business fluent English and German
