SOFTWARE TESTER

About the role

Our Digital Communications department creates innovative software platforms and tools which we use to bring the messages of Siemens to target groups worldwide. We are currently in search of an experienced Software Tester to assure the quality of our developed software. The successful candidate will work in agile environment to deliver exciting software solutions and offer excellent technical support. Key responsibilities

·Responsible for the transparency of software quality.

·Performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose

·Clearly and regularly communicates with management as well as software developer and technical support colleagues

·Works together with and instructs external service provides to achieve optimal outcomes

What do I need to qualify?

·Academical degrees, job experience etc

·Experience in project management and QA methodology

·Ability to document and troubleshoot errors

·Working knowledge of test management software and SQL

·Experience with cloud-based environments like Amazon Web Services

·Experience in working in an agile/SCRUM software development environment and regression testing

·Tools -Confluence/JIRA, Selenium

·Strong notion to self-learn, attention to detail, organisational talent
