Main functions and responsibilities:
- Software design and development.
- Requirements management and traceability throughout the product life cycle.
- Test specification.
- Assume assigned responsibilities during the entire software development cycle, including specification, design, development, test, and delivery phase.
- Project documentation following Railway European standards and Siemens processes.
- Software verification activities.
- Working in an international and multidisciplinary development team.
Requirements:
- Software engineer (Computer Science)
- Experience in the entire software development cycle, specification, design, development, test, and delivery
- Desirable experience in the development of applications for Railway Signaling systems.
- Desirable minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge in Java and Groovy programming language.
- Knowledge in Java Swing or JavaFX technologies.
- Knowledge of requirements and traceability management.
- Knowledge of automatic testing tools.
- Knowledge of CENELEC 50128 standard.
It will be assessed:
- Experience in tools: Git, Jira, Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge in cloud and container architectures, Dockers / Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AGILE software development methodology (SCRUM).
- Programming using code standards and following good development practices (SonarQube and CodeNarc).
Skills:
- Good level of technical English and Spanish, spoken and written.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple geographic locations.
- Ability to work in a team, good communication skills and a results-oriented approach.
