Siemens Digital Industries Software is aleading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture ofproducts across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships,space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily livesare being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) software.

Organization Overview-

This sales position will be responsible forrenewing maintenance and SaaS subscription-based software products, up-sells,price increases and extending the tenure and lifetime value of our customers.

Job Profile/Position Overview –

This is a quota carrying sales position thatwill be responsible for renewing maintenance and subscription-based softwareproducts, upsells, price increases and extending the tenure and lifetime valueof our customers. Candidates should be able to engage with various levels ofcontacts over the phone to advance the customer journey through strong rapportbuilding and consultative partnership. A key part of this role is identifyingpossible roadblocks to customer longevity in various parts of the Siemens/Customerrelationship, including product training, license deployment, and licenseutilization. Skills include identification of potential customer needs,detailed account assessment, and in-depth collaboration with other internalteams.
Candidates will develop a deep understanding over time of the products andsolutions they are required to renew and sell. Excellent verbal and writtenEnglish communication skills, phone contact management experience, knowledge ofonline marketing and CRM system a must. Renewal Sales Representatives are inconstant collaboration with indirect and direct sales, inside sales teams andcustomer success teams.

Responsibilities/Tasks

• Using the phone tocontact and build relationships with our existing customer base.
• Ability to understand and interpret a customer’s account "snapshot"or current situation.
• Actively identify opportunities and increase customer revenue through upsellactivities and price increases.
• Coordinate with Direct Maintenance Sales Reps, Customer Success Managers, andother teams as necessary to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Manage renewal sales pipeline and report sales activities and KPI’s in regularsales meetings.
• Support the advancement of customers through milestones of the buyer’sjourney including adoption, expansion, and renewal.
• Works on projects/assignments of moderate scope.
• Typically works under self-management on assignment/projects as sole salesrepresentative for an assigned product or product line.

Skills and AbilitiesRequired:
• Able to interact with a large variety of people including sales, presales,post sales and customers from various industrial sectors and at differentlevels of responsibility.
• Building relationships over the phone to develop and close business isessential.
• Relentless focus on following up with decision makers and maintaining forwardmovement of the customer journey throughout the defined process.
• Using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to manage, monitor and trackopportunities on a timely basis, as well as document & research customerinformation and sales activities.
• Strong level of verbal and written local language required - secondarylanguage skills beneficial.

Minimum Requirements

• Prefer minimum three years quota-carryingaccount management experience working with medium and large enterprise businessclients.
• Must have at least 3yrs of software sales, or sales support, experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, phone contactmanagement experience, knowledge of online marketing and CRM system a must.
• Must currently reside in the continental USA, near a SIEMENS office. 
• Three years’ technology experience, ideally in working with medium and largeenterprise business clients.
• Sales training that has included negotiation, upselling, and objectionhandling preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required, unless candidate has at least 5-7+ years ofdirectly related experience with software sales, support or hands-onexperience.
• Strongly prefer internal Siemens DISW experience

The totalcash compensation range for this position is $89,200 to $178,400 with 30% of thisbeing comprised of an annual incentive target. The actual compensation offeredis based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additionalfactors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevanteducation/training. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellnessbenefits to employees.
