In this role, youwill work and interact with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers onthe development and testing of new features and system improvements. Thisincludes design & coding, test development, and writing of test protocolsand reports, all while fulfilling quality system requirements.

This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build theirskill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Software Engineering Co-op, youwill be responsible for:

• Aid in thedevelopment of test algorithms, scripts, and procedures in production of newproduct
• Assist indevelopment of software application and unit testing
• Assist inverification of advanced robotic-assisted vascular interventional system and developmentof software testing tools, used for verification
• Identifytrends in system data using state of the art script or visualization tools
• Utilizestate-of-the-art software development and processes
• Assist inexecution of software verification test protocols and documentation of results

This position may suit you best if you’re familiar withthe following and would like to develop your skills

with Siemens Healthineers:

• Programmingexperience with either C or C++
• Programmingexperience with Python
• Must beself-motivated, organized, able to multitask, and work under aggressivedeadlines
• Must havestrong documentation skills
• Databaseexperience preferred
• Embeddedsystem experience preferred

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

·       Currently enrolled in abachelor’s or master’s degree program majoring in Computer Science,Software Engineering, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering. (minimum rising seniorpreferred)

·       Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)
