Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

· You work in a strategic development project in close cooperation with the business lines of Siemens Healthineers, research groups of our technology centre while based at our clinical collaboration site
· As a SW engineer, you work on projects concerning research and development on the subject of information integration with the focus on data integration from various sources and workflow modelling
· You will take over the responsibility for planning, conception and implementation of new data-based solutions and their interfaces
· You will analyse new components and methods, and pilot solutions in order to implement initial “proof of concepts”
· You share responsibility for the quality of the products and take care of the documentation of the requirements and concepts
· Support the development and deployment of artificial intelligence methods and the creation of analysis models based on data from different sources and in different formats

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate

· You have a considerable experience or a Masters, PhD in health informatics, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, information systems or a different equivalent discipline
· You have a deep understanding of the theoretical and practical background of data integration, data mining or artificial intelligence with a focus on multi-modal clinical data analysis
· You have suitable professional experience in the field ofSW engineering, data management, data analysis and visualization, preferably within the Healthcare industry
· You have well-founded coding experience in the languages SQL, C++, R, Python, JavaScript, HTML in Windows and Linux and have experience with software tools like TensorFlow, ITK or the like
· You have sound technological expertise with the following products: Microsoft Azure/Hadoop, MS SQL Server (or other relational data management system), AngularJS
· You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
· You have good problem solving and communication skills, customer orientation, target orientation and analytical abilities, as well as a structured work ethic

Depending on the experience- and qualifications background of the applicant task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
