Job description
- Ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism.
- Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas.
- Technical lead of one or more projects within one area of a product.
- Provides input to the technical direction for one area of a product.
- Occasional consults with customers in regard to future upgrades and products.
- Provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas.
- BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science, EE, Computer Engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
- 0 to 4 years of industry, software development experience in developing large C++ applications as part of a team.
- Demonstrated experience with algorithm and data structure design.
- Understanding of gate-level digital logic design.
- Able to understand complex products, solutions, and problems, solve complex technical problems, and work with minimal supervision on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment.
- Excel both in a team-oriented development and working independently.
- Experience in EDA software development, especially in P&R, synthesis, design partition, or placement.
- AI and machine learning experience.
- Software engineering skills with experience in use of Unix/Linux OS.
Thisposition will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under theInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export AdministrationRegulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S.Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $101,200 to$182,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
