Job Title: Software Engineer (Multiple Positions)

Job Location: Wilsonville, OR

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Work with global research and development team to enhance digital simulator, Questa. Perform feature enhancements, language HDL support, optimizations, and performance improvement. Design, develop, and troubleshoot problems in the digital simulation. Use compiler design fundamentals of supporting new language features, optimizations, and performance. Enhance and develop the simulator for new features both from the standard as well as customer demand. Debug and implement optimizations and flows in the simulator. Communicate ideas and project status clearly to upper management.

Requirements: The employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer related occupation. The position requires experience in the following: Working with C or C++ software on UNIX/LINUX and Windows platforms; Working with computer science algorithm design and data structures for optimal speed and capacity; Working in cross-functional worldwide research and development teams; Working in Agile development environments using modern tracking and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence; Working with modern source control and build systems such as Perforce, make, GNU, or Microsoft; Build and debug tools for C and C++ development; Programming in scripting environments such as Python, Perl, or Shell. 70% telecommuting permitted within a commutable distance.
