Today, we are recruiting for a Signaling Maintenance Shift Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Assist the engineer/supervisor in his tasks.
- Work as a technical expert within the SIG system service.
- Repair and maintenance functions applicable to SIG system service.
- Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the relevant equipment including software in conformity with the applicable technical documentation.
- Coordinate all aspects of the requirements for speedy corrective actions e.g., Suitable personnel, tools, materials, etc.
- Assist in the repair of installations in conformity with the applicable technical documentation.
- Perform daily control of the subordinated staff within his service.
- Monitor and review maintenance task reports.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance including repair works under the supervision of the engineer on duty and in conformity with the technical instructions and maintenance manuals.
- Operate special tools and measuring devices required to perform maintenance and repair tasks Tools, equipment, machinery, vehicles, operated/used, all tools including special tools required for the execution of his tasks.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any equivalent diploma.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a similar role.
- Experience in working with projects and preferably in the public transportation business and special skills (communication, etc.)
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Good computer skills.
- Has the ability to train staff on technical issues.
- Has a good knowledge of tools and equipment.
- On-the-job training.
- CMMS
