Job Description:
The Siemens PLM Software Professional Services team takes pride in delivering customers leading edge manufacturing, planning, quality and laboratory management systems through a Professional Services team that is unparalleled in the industry. Siemens PLM Software is seeking candidates to enhance our field services team as a Project Manager.
Position Overview
As part of the Siemens PLM delivery team, a Project Manager manages services projects that drive customer value realization. Executing the project(s) within the defined targeted outcomes, such as financial, schedule, scope and quality, while working with Sales and Presales to ensure customer satisfaction.
As part of a Professional Services team, you will work productively with Consultants, Developers, Architects, other Project Managers, and other internal & external interfaces such as Industry and Product Development teams to ensure that our customers succeed in their objectives. Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software includes Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Managements Systems (QMS), and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
Responsibilities
· As a part of the Siemens PLM ownership culture, provide the highest value to our customers by leading a team to architect, develop, configure and deploy end to end software solutions to enhance their capabilities, efficiency, and quality
· Manage one or more unrelated MOM services projects that may be customer or internal facing
· Work with Sales, Services Management and Program Management to drive customers to realize value from Siemens' Digital Enterprise Solutions
· Together with Services and Engagement Management, build, inspire and motivate an effective team; Motivate and drive excellence with the team, provide recognition and encourage team members personnel development
· Manage projects throughout the project life-cycle leveraging best-practice methodologies; including planning and management of the project scope, schedule, costs, staffing, progress monitoring, procurement, stakeholder, risk, quality, status reporting, and changes.
· Work with Siemens personnel to resolve issues and manage business partners and subcontractors
· Utilize your own knowledge and background to challenge customers to think differently
· Identify and create additional opportunities from ongoing projects
· Provide continual improvement through active participation in Communities of Practice and contribution to the enhancement of best practices based on lessons learned and trends
· Utilize all aspects of best-practice Project Management
· Uphold and enforce Siemens compliance guidelines at all times
· Travel up to 75% required
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· Bachelors: degree in technical or engineering field required
· 3+ years of MOM project management experience providing Services implementing one or more of: MES, QMS, LIMS
· 3+ years of experience with multi-tiered, LAN and WAN integrated systems and solutions
· 3+ years of experience with Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), best practices, coding standards, testing methods, and deployment approaches
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Self-directed; strong communication skills (written and oral); leadership of small distributed teams
· Advanced experience with project scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project)
· 3+ years of experience delivering projects to the approved budget and agreed margin
· 3+ years of experience with customer management and contract writing experience
· PMI-PMP certification
· Location – Any U.S. City near a Major airport

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· Experience in discrete and process industry manufacturing environments
· Experience with corporate solutions (PLM, ERP, WHMS, etc.) and controls level solutions (test equipment, OPC, PLCs, HMI, etc.)
· Siemens MOM product experience, such as: Simatic IT Production Suite or UADM; Camstar, QSYS, SIT R&D Suite
· SharePoint administration
· SCRUM
