Siemens is looking for a motivated ServiceNow Infrastructure Engineer to work on public cloud discovery, our ServiceNow CMDB/Asset Management, or our Security Operations implementation.

You will be working with an excellent team on ServiceNow development with a special emphasis on populating and reconciling our CMDB, public cloud asset content and security operations vulnerability response module.

Responsibilities include:

• Experience with ServiceNow CMDB configuration

• Familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) within ServiceNow

• Establish integrated and systematic processes in support of related Configuration Management processes.

• Develop the organization's expertise in the Configuration Management processes and methods.

• Plan, manage, and coordinate the full lifecycle in a high interoperability IT environment.

• Empower CMDB stakeholders utilize and leverage the CMDB database and associated processes.

• Provide technical support and problem resolution regarding the new and existing data analytics, policy, process, standards,and best practices related to Configuration Management.

• Responsible for improvement of CI data integrity regarding classes, naming conventions, attributes, data sources, and relationships Responsible for conducting configuration audits and reconciliation Maintains CIs to ensure CMDB accuracy and completeness Drives visibility on unauthorized CI changes or alterations to environment.

• Works with other ITSM process owners to understand new requirements and identify how Configuration management can support and administer the tool for configuration and asset management, ServiceNow Discovery, and additional applications or modules as assigned Overall

• Responsible in scaling up of operational CMDB as per CSDM framework.

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

• BS in Computer Science

• Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, Ajax, AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Jelly, CSS, HTML/HTML5

• Understanding of REST and JSON technologies

• Expert knowledge of ServiceNow toolset and integrations with related systems, including a strong background on the ServiceNow Platform and capabilities

• 3+ years with ServiceNow CMDB and strong knowledge in asset discovery and asset management practices

• Knowledgeable of industry practices and trends for CMDB and configuration management

• Proficient in data model design for CMDB, including the creation of relationships, data flows and conceptual and logical data models, data dictionaries.

• Proficient in Service-Now auto-discovery and knowledgeable of the platform’s capabilities to interface with other complementary tools.

• Knowledgeable of cloud infrastructure environments a plus

• Knowledgeable of ServiceNow Security Operations and App Engine a plus

• Capable of working closely with a globally dispersed team.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and skills.

• Excellent English language skills both verbal and written.

The salary range for this position is $101,200 to$182,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.
