Senior Automation Engineer- Siemens Digital Industries

We are now looking for a Senior Automation Engineer for our SiemensDigital Industries Service department.
With us, you will make a difference by:
- Being a specialist in Siemens Simatic Automation productsand applications you are assisting our customers with the implementation ofautomation projects, maintenance, or changes to their manufacturing processesand machines.
- Programming advanced functions in PLC’s and SCADA/ HMI Systems
- Keeping yourself updated on the latestdevelopments in automation and digitalization.
- Being involved in the design phase of new projectsand having the opportunity to participate in parts of the sales process forthese.
- Taking care of upselling opportunities andensuring a long-term relationship with our customers.
- Sharing expertise and collaborating on projectsand service assignments with over 70 experts in Siemens Norway and many moreworld wide working for Siemens
- Having significant responsibility for your owncompetence development and contributing to high customer satisfaction.
Do you recognize yourself in any of this? We arelooking for someone with a background in field service assignments or otherexperience in the automation industry, preferably with Siemens products. Youprioritize the customer experience and can work both independently andanalytically. It's advantageous if you have knowledge of S7 300/400/1500PLCs, safety concepts in automation, Scada system and/or process controlsystems of Siemens, but it is not a requirement. You have a Bachelor's orMaster's degree in automation/cybernetics or equivalent technical educationwith a trade certificate. Good system understanding and experience in PLCprogramming, experience with Siemens' PLC systems and PCS7 are advantageous butnot required. You should have good oral and written communication skills inEnglish.
