Senior UX Consultant

Our team is actively seeking a highly skilled and creative UX Consultant with 3-5 years of experience. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional user experiences for our clients. From research and ideation to prototyping and high-fidelity designs, you will oversee projects and utilize your expertise and innovative thinking to drive the success of our client's digital products and services. We are confident that you will significantly impact our team and exceed our client's expectations.

Responsibilities:

  1. User Research: Gain a deep understanding of your user's needs, preferences, and behaviors through conducting user research activities like interviews, surveys, and usability testing. By analyzing and synthesizing research findings, you'll make informed design decisions that enhance the user experience.
  2. Ideation and Concept Development: Work together with a variety of teams, such as product managers, developers, and designers, to come up with inventive ideas and concepts that will enhance user experiences. Use design thinking techniques to create and produce innovative solutions.
  3. Information Architecture: Develop user flows, site maps, and wireframes to effectively communicate the overall structure and organization of digital products or services. Ensure intuitive and user-friendly navigation throughout the user journey.
  4. Interaction Design: Design and test interactive prototypes for usability to confirm design choices. Continuously improve and adjust designs based on user feedback and usability research. Promote the use of interaction design and user interface (UI) patterns that follow best practices.
  5. Visual Design: Create brand-consistent, visually appealing designs.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Ensure effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Clearly and persuasively present design concepts, rationale, and research findings. Work collaboratively with clients to address feedback and improve designs.
  7. Project Management: Work within project timelines and budgets, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards. Collaborate with project managers to prioritize tasks, manage expectations, and communicate project progress effectively.
  8. Elevate UX maturity across Siemens GBS: proactively raising awareness about the importance of user experience and advocating for its incorporation into all aspects of our organization's processes and projects.
  9. Industry Trends and Best Practices: Keep yourself informed about the latest trends, techniques, and best practices in user experience design. Collaborate with your team to share knowledge and insights and work towards continuous improvement within the organization. Advocate for User Experience to enhance UX maturity across Siemens GBS.
    

Requirements:

 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in UX design
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Experience with user research techniques, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Solid knowledge of information architecture, interaction design, and visual design principles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders, to promote UX across Siemens GBS.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant UX design work, demonstrating a strong understanding of the end-to-end design process.
