Rate of Pay: Thesalary range for this position in Fremont, CA is $147,700 – $236,300 per year andthis role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Develop automated testing for manufacturingemulation hardware. Design, test, and implement technological enhancements.Drive new feasibility and functional test requirement studies to automate teststo increase efficiency. Interface with foreign and domestic mechanicalengineers to resolve system and board-level test failures at the manufacturingfacility.
Requirements: The employer will accept a Bachelor's degree,or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or related in a fieldand 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software QualityAssurance Engineering - related occupation. The position requires experience inthe following: Working in operating systems including Linux; Scripting inPython and Shell; Developing automation tools for functional test process; 2years of experience working with database design concepts, and data modellingskills in translating business requirements into logical data models; Coding ofstored procedures/functions and database triggers using MySQL or PostgreSQL;Working with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems; Coding inHTML5,CSS,XML, and Java SCRIPT. 40% telecommuting is permitted within acommutable distance.
