In order tofulfil the exploding computing needs driven by new technologies like AI theSemiconductor industry continues to move to more complex process technologieslike back-side power, CFET devices etc. to achieve ever morepower/performance/area advantages. Shipping devices in high volume at theseadvanced nodes require rapid yield improvement, and, automatic electrical testfailure diagnosis tools play a critical role in this function. In this role youwill join a team of well know experts in this area to create advancedalgorithms for problems related to diagnosis and yield analysis that have anindustry-wide impact.
You will berequired to analyze problems, research solutions, implement the product andwrite conference papers.
For thiswe are looking for a highly motivated and capable Software Engineer.Development will be done in C++ on a Linux platform. The candidate must be ableto design and implement high-quality, very efficient, and maintainable softwaresolutions to complex problems. Additionally, the candidate is expected to be afast learner and self starter, with excellent verbal and written communicationskills, and ability to work effectively within a distributed team.
Theposition can be in-office or hybrid at any of our locations in the UnitedStates, Germany, Poland, or Canada.
RequiredQualifications
- Masters (orhigher) in Computer/Electrical Engineering, or other related field.
- C++programming experience.
- Workingknowledge of digital logic design.
- Understandingof software architecture best practices and object-oriented programming.
- Excellentand creative problem-solving skills, including skills with algorithms and datastructures.
- Attentionto details and high-quality work.
- Excellentverbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
PreferredQualifications
- Backgroundin digital logic design, electrical analysis of digital logic circuits andscan-based design for test is a strong plus.
- EletronicDesign Automation tool development will be another strong plus.
- Backgroundin logic test failure diagnosis is preferred.
- Knowledgeof SPICE simulators, physical design knowledge will be very helpful
- Experiencewith software development on Linux, and development tools such as Git.
- Knowledgeof machine learning methodologies.
