Analog FastSPICE™(AFS) is world’s fastest nanometer accurate circuit verification platform usedby over 200 semiconductor companies worldwide for their toughest circuitverification challenges while designing high-speed I/Os, PLLs, ADCs/DACs, CMOSimage sensors, RFICs, and embedded memory.

As a key member ofAFS R&D team you will participate in developing efficient algorithms andimplementing them using innovative software engineering processes anddevelopment tools, with a strong emphasis on software quality; thus gainingindustry level experience in solving tough computational complexity problemswhile participating in entire software development lifecycle.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Work closely with other analog circuit simulator developers, architects and product engineers to enhance core circuit simulator accuracy, performance, capacity, and feature set
• Maintain and enhance compatibility with other simulators
• Profile and identify bottlenecks in performance of various analyses for very large circuits
• Debug difficult test-cases with accuracy, performance, capacity, or functional issues

Requirements:

• Do you hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a relevant area with an outstanding academic record?
• We are looking for candidates with demonstrated background in object-oriented design and software engineering processes (C++/Linux)
• Proficiency in memory optimization, high-performance data structures and algorithms
• Working knowledge of multithreading programming
• Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills along with outstanding problem-solving abilities.

Desirable Skills:

• We are looking for an individual possessing 1-2 years of industry experience in software development for engineering applications, with a preference for proficiency in numerical methods and sparse matrix techniques.

 Coursework in one or more of:

• Numerical Analysis
• Electronic Design Automation topics
• Machine Learning
• Analog Circuit Analysis
• Computer Architecture
• Compiler Design
• Experience using Matlab
