This is a role well suited to anambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

·       Working with R&D, quality assurance and manufacturingteams to develop reliability requirements, develop and implement comprehensive reliabilitytest plans for IVD medical devices that align with product development andproduction processes.

·       Designing and developing test methods and fixtures toassess the performance and durability of IVD devices. 

·       Writing of test protocols, training personnel on testprocedure, analyzing data and creating final reports.

·       Conducting reliability tests and documenting results,including environmental, lifecycle, and accelerated aging tests, to evaluateproduct performance under different conditions and in compliance with relevantregulatory standards and guidelines.

·       Analyzing test results and providing detailed reports,identifying areas for improvement and potential risks.

·       Serving as the subject matter expert and technicalrepresentative for the reliability engineering function in project teams.

·       Recommending design or test methods and statisticalprocess control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.

·       Leading and directing multiple projects in a fast-paced,cross-functional environment.

·       Participating in design reviews and working with engineeringto drive DFR (Design for Reliability) process and tools and support in definingand executing reliability plans.

·       Developing reliability plans and requirements, conductingDesign Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).

·       Reviewing device failures, performing root cause investigations,and documenting results in a failure reporting, analysis, and corrective action(FRACAS) system.

·       Completing risk analysis studies of new designs andprocesses. Compiling and analyzing performance reports and process controlstatistics; investigating and analyzing relevant variables potentiallyaffecting product and processes.

·       You have a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate withtechnical teams and drive results. 

·       You can identify and solve complex problems related to reliability andmaintenance.

·       You can analyze data and identify patterns to develop solutions forpotential problems.

·       You have a strong understanding of engineering principles and are familiarwith relevant software and tools.

·       You can identify and assess risks that can cause delays to projecttimelines or increase project costs.

·       You can develop process and methodology to model system and subsystemreliability.

·       You can work with development teams to drive effective FMEA's and riskreduction.

·       You can generate data and perform life data analysis.

·       You have knowledge of building fixtures and performing Life Data Analysisfor in-vitro diagnostics medical products.

Required skills to have for the success of this role.

·       Bachelor’s degree (Advanced degree preferred) in Mechanical /Electrical /Biomedical/Systems /Reliability Engineering or related discipline. 

·       7+ years product verification andreliability engineering experience in highly regulated industry preferably in amedical device or healthcare industry.

·       Previous experience creating customverification tests and fixtures.

·       Previous experience planningverification tests (DoE, sample size selection, etc.)

·       Working knowledge of agile development with product owner experience is aplus.

·       Experience in Reliability andstatistical analysis software like Reliasoft/PTC Windchill/Minitab is preferred.

·       Reliability Engineering Certification aplus
