What will you do?
Siemens want to attract a talented and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead our Onshore Bid Management and Project Management of turnkey projects at Battery Production and Assembly Customers.
The Senior Project Manager will report to the Senior V.P. Digital Industries

You will be responsible for the successful bidding and execution of industrial projects up to $200 million for Customers in the Battery segment. Your role is to negotiate and manage the execution of 3rd party project content (machinery, engineering content, installation, electrical panels) and take on overall bid management and project management responsibility of the onshore content of those projects.
You will be part of the DIGITAL INDUSTRIES team with more than 1000 employees in Canada. We work in an Outcome based Leadership Culture. We put the Customer First. We work remotely, come to the office a couple of times a week, with this purpose to meet Customers, build trust and connect with the Colleagues and Leadership team.
- Working with customers, team members, internal and external vendors and Siemens stakeholders
- Work with vendors to track shipments.
- Tracking project performance to ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed in accordance with Customer expectation.
- Be a trusted partner to the respective head office counterparts on the bidding and project management of the onshore part of projects you manage
- Evaluating the cost calculation and risk assessment of bid & won projects
- Actively support a CUSTOMER FIRST Culture
- Develop junior project managers to senior levels
- Anticipate, prevent, and manages risks
- Travel is required within Canada, USA, and Germany
- Participate in Customer meetings
What will you need to succeed?
- Must have a PMP certification
- You have a technical educational background preferably an Engineering Degree
- Must have 3+ years of industrial experience as a project manager, having managed projects which involved programming
- People management skills
- Good communicator, being bilingual French/English is an asset
- Have a growth mindset
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Project), CAD, etc.
- Ability to read and understand engineered drawings
- Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects, involving complex work-scopes, multiple stakeholders, in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Proven ability to solve problems and drive sustainable environment
- Must have a high degree of motivation and a strong customer focus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
