Job description

Do you have a ComputerScience or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software background? Do you havea talent for learning and explaining complex software administration taskssimply? If yes, consider joining the Information Development team for SiemensTeamcenter administration tools.

Teamcenter is a PLMplatform for managing the design and manufacture of a wide range of productsfrom Mars rovers to golf clubs. It accommodates the lifecycles of such diverseproducts by being highly configurable. Customers configure our software for theirunique business processes. This adaptability presents administrators with awide range of configuration scenarios and an array of intersecting tasks. Thepower of Teamcenter is that it can look and behave differently for everycustomer.

As an Information Developer(technical writer), your job is to ensure administrators understand how toconfigure Teamcenter to achieve their specific business goals. Your ability toclearly explain the real-world purposes behind complex choices is critical totheir success. Our global documentation, development, and customer serviceteams are your partners in this endeavor. Other responsibilities includecreating realistic user examples, illustrating flows, documenting procedures,and designing reference material that enablesadministrators to successfully deploy our products.


RequiredKnowledge/Skills and Experience

 Two or more of thefollowing:
  • PLM software industry knowledge, or experience working with a PLM system
  • Software architecture, cloud computing, SaaS knowledge
  • Web-based architecture coding experience (HTML, JavaScript) or other coding experience with a programming language such as Java, C#, C++
  • Highly advanced technical writing experience

  • Proven project management experience
  • BS in a technical discipline (such as Computer Science, Engineering), BA in Communications, or commensurate experience

The salary range for this position is $101,200 to$182,200 USD and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actualcompensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location aswell as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, andrelevant education/training.  Siemensoffers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
