Senior level Fire Sprinkler Inspectors perform assigned tasks on fire sprinkler systems in accordance with all national and local standards.

As a Senior level Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will:

  • Provide inspection, testing, and service for fire sprinkler equipment to comply with NFPA25 standards as well as state and local codes. Complete required documentation including deficiency repair recommendations.
  • Discuss noted deficiencies, remedies, and pricing with customers and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Follow and maintain highly structured inspection schedules.
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed. Generate reports within Siemens tools and upload to city municipality websites.
  • Complete service ticket documentation before leaving the customer site.
  • Provide instructions to customer personnel regarding proper operations and routine inspections. Assist with training.
  • Work overtime when needed.
  • Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete required training and certifications within the time requirements for this role.
  • Provide hands-on training and coaching of entry-level inspectors.
  • Maintain stock, tools, and equipment in vehicles.
 

You will make an impact with these qualifications:  

Basic Qualifications:  

  • State of Texas RME-I License (Responsible Managing Employee - General Inspector License) 
  • 2+ years’ experience performing Inspections, Testing, and Maintenance (ITM) of Fire Sprinkler and/or Fire Life Safety Systems
  • Be able to work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders, scaffolds, and high-lift equipment, working in ducts, above ceilings, and in outside/inside/heat/cold/day/night conditions; use hand tools, laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet; carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted 
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED

  • The pay range for this position is $37870 - $75240 / year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
