Join our teamnow at Siemens Healthineers as a Senior EmbeddedSoftware Engineer in our Electrical Research and Developmentdepartment focused on embedded software, circuit board, FPGA, and custom ASICdesigns.  You’ll bejoining an experienced department which promotes an open and collaborative teamculture to develop innovative and market leading molecular imaging systems.Candidates should be comfortable with all aspects of the product life cycle asour development cycle begins with concept generation and ends with productsustaining.  Our team utilizes cuttingedge development tools as well as Agile development principles

This is a role well suited to anambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an embeddedsoftware engineer, you will be responsible for:

·      You will be implementing embedded softwareusing C/C++ programming languages

·      You will be performing board and system levelprocessor integration using development environments in Windows, Linux, and MQX

·      You will be coordinating with board and systemlevel design engineers

·      You will be creating documentation of newsoftware command interfaces, features, and verification plans

·      You will be utilizing C# and python to createGUI applications for automated testing of hardware and to create debugging andintegration tools for new designs

·      Depending on the candidate, you may be implementingfirmware using VHDL

This positionmay suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to dodevelop your career with Healthineers

·       You havedemonstrated excellence working with some of the following: embedded software development,Unix/Linux environments, application development, software verification andvalidation

·       You havedemonstrated an interest and ability to learn other coding languages andframeworks as needed

·       You possess aproficiency in C/C++ programming languages for embedded and real-time operatingsystems (RTOS)

·       You arefamiliar with the Xilinx/Intel embedded software development tool suites, forboth soft and hard processor subsystems

·       You adhere tocommon software development processes for writing reliable/maintainable codeand performing unit testing

·       You areproficient in reading and understanding complex electrical schematics

·       You haveexperience working in a team environment and have strong organizational andinterpersonal skills

·       You haveexperience with FDA software development regulations for medical equipment

·       Experiencewith VHDL and Xilinx tools preferred

Required skills to have for the success of this role

·       Bachelor ofScience Degree in Electrical, Software, or Computer Engineering

·       Minimum of3-5 years of embedded software development experience

·       Occasional(5%) travel may be required
