This is a role well suited to anambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior ElectricalEngineer with a mixed signal (analog/digital) design background, you willbe responsible for:
- The position will be primarilyresponsible for establishing early product lifecycle development of theregulatory compliance of electrical hardware including evaluating productelectrical compliance requirements, planning, and scheduling early development cycleproduct compliance testing, participating in product compliance testing, anddebugging designs and reporting on results.

· ConceptGeneration and Requirement Definition – Generating ideas, developingalternative solutions, determining needs for new products, understanding andeliciting customer wishes.
· Designand Analysis – Simulation, optimization, and decision-making to support theevaluation and selection of alternative architectures and circuitimplementations.
· Implementation– Realize designs in schematics, Bill of Materials, PCB Layout, Cablingdiagrams, VHDL code and control firmware as needed.
· Verification– Verify implementation meets all design constraints including Functional,Performance, Thermal, EMI/EMC, Reliability, Hazard and FMEA.
· Validation– Validate that the design satisfies operational, physical, and intendedpatient use cases through system level testing and execution of patientworkflows.
· Manufacturing,Service and Customer Support – Provide on-going engineering support for designsreleased to production.
· SkillGrowth and Industry Awareness – Membership and participation in technicalsocieties, regular reviews of periodicals in the field and a habit of continuedlearning.
Required skills to have for the success of this role
· 3-5 years of mixed signal analog/digital electronic circuitdesign
· Experience with electronic CAD tools for schematic capture, and anunderstanding of PCB layout/packaging strategies that will safeguard signalintegrity & circuit stability are required.
· Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsto communicate information effectively to peers, managers, and technical stafffrom various countries.
· Ability to convey ideas and concepts to a wide range of audienceincluding the clinical community, product management and other engineers isessential.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment aspart of a team.
· Produce excellent results with minimal supervision.
· Strong analytic and decision-making skills.
· Strong quality orientation and customer focus.
· Candidate will be required to have a BS in Electronic, Electrical,or related Engineering field is required. A master's degree in electricalengineering is a plus.
· Experience with development of FDA regulated products is a plus.
· Knowledge of regulatory compliance for electrical/electronicsystems is a plus.
