What aremy responsibilities?

• As a Senior Decarbonization Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data-intensive applications with a focus on ensuring the highest quality for new developments.
• Advocating and fostering a DevOps culture while contributing to the definition and implementation of CI/CD application pipelines.
• Promoting and implementing modern software engineering practices to stay at the forefront of industry standards.
• Enhancing existing solutions with a specific emphasis on scalability, testability, and maintainability.
• Serving as a technical reference within the team, addressing queries, proposing enhancements, and acting as a mentor when needed.
• Translating customer requirements and problems into concrete tasks and solutions, transforming them into user stories and features.

What do Ineed to qualify for this position?

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Senior Software Engineer
• BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related studies
• Professional experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Go, Java, C# and/or JavaScript
• Knowledge about Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud environments, and familiarity with Unix systems
• Practical experience in Automatic Testing, ideally using TDD or BDD
• Ability to develop and deploy production-ready code.
