This is a role wellsuited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As a Senior Biochemist, you will be responsible for:

• You will be leading processand/or design change projects.  
• You will develop protocols, preparevalidation and/or test results reports, and work with cross functional teams.
• You may provideguidance to technicians and lead troubleshooting during production and postdistribution of commercial products.
• You may lead to investigatethe performance of raw materials for use in manufacture ofChemistry/Immunoassay products.
• You may lead or participatein investigation of escalated complaints and manufacturingissues.  
• You will coordinate and perform investigations and implementcorrective and preventive actions.
• You will preparebuffers and reagent formulations as necessary in the evaluation of animalbleeds and pools qualification.  Thiswill also require you to work with controlled substances and running Syva VivaE, ProE, Beckman AU, and Atellica instruments with serum and other biologicalfluids of human and animal origin in the laboratory set-up.

• You have good timemanagement and planning skills, working with cross function teams to meetproject milestones.
• You have goodunderstanding and knowledge of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodiesqualification and principles of immunodiagnostic technologies as well asexperience with immunoassays.
• You have demonstratedability to interpret data through statistical analysis to troubleshoot andresolve technical issues. 
• You have proficiency in using Microsoft Officeand statistical tools.
• You have goodunderstanding of Quality System Requirement and current regulations.
• You have a strong workethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills. You have strongchemistry or biochemistry background related to complex reagent production.

Required skills to havefor the success of this role:

• BS in Chemistry,Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Medical Technology, Biology or relateddisciplines with 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Advanced degree (MS orPhD) with 1+ years of job-related experience.
• Experience working in aregulated environment.
