Job Description

Seasonal Field Tech I (Combustion Turbine)

As a Seasonal Field Tech you will workfor the gas and steam turbine field services organization. You will perform major repairs, upgrades, maintenance and inspection on the Siemens Combustion Turbines.

Orientation and training will be in Deer Park for up to 8 weeks in January 2020.

Responsibilities

·  Support outages (major or minor and short/ extended duration up to 3 months) in North America
·  Support outage field inspection activities through the application of inspection systems and support the inspection of combustion turbine and generators as well as balance of plant equipment such as piping at our customers' power plant
·  Travel up to 75% to different sites both domestic and internationally.
·  Seasonal Field Techs are eligible to live anywhere in the United States (Lower 48) while in that role procedures

Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States. Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Required Knowledge/Experience:

·  High School diploma or GED required
·  Up to 2 years of related industry experience
·  Hands on mechanical experience
·  Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays (1st or 2nd shift)
·  Working knowledge and understanding of precision equipment
·  Basic experience with heavy lifting and rigging equipment
·  Combustion turbine experience either in power plant technology or the jet engine aeroderivitive technology
·  Rotating equipment and compressor experience
·  Ability to read and interpret blueprints
·  Willing to travel up to 75% domestic/international
·  Guarantee of at least 1,248 hours of scheduled assignments required with option to decline assignments after reaching 1,248 hours for the year.

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

·  Combustion turbine experience either in power plant technology or the jet engine aeroderivitive technology
·  Diesel Mechanic Experience
·  Certification with heavy lifting and rigging equipment
