The systems deployed typically utilise core sub-systems and products from the Traffic Solutions product portfolio with configuration and project specific developments.

The Scrum Master will be responsible for working across a number of small SCRUM teams working on a large customer development. Our teams are working on a complex traffic control system that will improve the lives of the travelling public worldwide. The teams are multi-disciplinary consisting of C++, Angular UI and Java developers as well as testers. You will be bringing your experience of supporting technical teams in solving complex problems as we migrate from a legacy C++ system to a modern AWS hosted solution.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, autonomous innovator who has a passion for delivering change and improving the status quo.

Is Siemens the place to enjoy your next success?

·  You are an experienced Scrum Master confident in mentoring technical SCRUM teams and have some coding experience
·  You are comfortable working in fully agile teams developing microservices deployed to an AWS cloud.
·  You should be working with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
·  You see team impediments as a challenge and show tenacity to overcome these and unblock the team.

·  You are an effective communicator able to describe technical solutions to all stakeholders to achieve the desired result, with strong oral and written communication skills.
·  You will produce sprint metrics to the team and Stakeholders, as part of the SAFe methodology

In your role, what can you expect?

You will lead (servant-leader) a team of multi-disciplined engineers responsible for an important set of features of our traffic control system. You will be a dedicated Scrum Master responsible for removing impediments, ensuring that the SCRUM events are organised and attended by the team and stakeholders, working with the Product Owners to ensure that the team have all the necessary artefacts to deliver their commitments and encourage a culture of continuous improvement at sprint retrospectives.

Candidates should hold a BSc in a related STEM discipline or be able to demonstrate experience in a similar professional role. It is desirable that candidates are working towards additional SAFe accreditations such as Advanced Scrum Master (which will be supported by Siemens).
