Position Overview:

Siemens Industry is looking for a Busway Design Engineer with 3D Modeling (Creo preferred) experience for their Spartanburg, SC location. This person will report to the Engineering Supervisor and will have no direct reports.

You will be responsible for completing semi-complex design drawings for fabrication and assembly including but not limited to:
•Developing product configurations to meet customer project specifications.
•Ability to work with customers and their changing requirements.
•You must be able to read drawings and prepare drawings for fabrication.
•Ability to work with assembly & fabrication associates to address any issues or questions
•Prepare detailed drawings per customer & design specifications using design tools.
•Process customer orders in a timely manner
•Works with all functions to address any issues

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
•BS Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree required.
•3D modeling experience is required.

•Pro/E or Creo experience preferred.

•Team Center experience preferred, but not required.

•SAP experience preferred, but not required.
•Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including routings, bill of materials, etc.
•Proficient with MS-Office applications.

•Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and capability to promote new ideas and products.

•Analytical thinking combined with conceptual and organizational abilities.

•Team oriented personality who is willing to travel and likes to work in an international environment.

•Proactive at executing daily tasks and achieving long-term goals.

• Passionate commitment to the company vision.

•Previous work with sheet metal design is a plus.

•Minimal travel required, 5%.
