SCADA Engineer

Relationship:

Work closely with Project Team & Project Manager on assigned project and maintain good working relationship with End Customer

General Description:

As a SCADA Engineer within the Energy Management division you contribute to creating added value for our clients. Automation and Digitization are important enablers for our customers to meet these challenges. With its Spectrum Power portfolio, Siemens offers solutions to meet these challenges. The Spectrum Power portfolio offers SCADA / Energy management solutions for transmission & distribution networks. We are looking for experienced SCADAEngineer for Spectrum Power System

Primary Job Functions:

·  Design, document, implement and maintain essential SCADA and SMART GRID control systems for electric power and distribution networks
·  You are a domain expert and responsible for the parameterization, Operation and troubleshooting of SCADA system for SCADA/DMS/GIS applications
·  Provide appropriate and timely technical advice on matters relating to SCADA and control systems
·  Carry out duties in accordance with Power safety, environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values and strategies
·  Oversee entire project execution lifecycle (Design > Production > FAT > SAT)
·  Manage and prepare project documentation (Drawings, Test Logs, etc) as required
·  Provide project reports and other information to the management
·  Conduct product trainings for customers

Required Qualification:

·  Engineering qualification B.E.(Electrical, Electronic, or similar) or equivalent
·  Experience in working with Oracle database and Operating System like Linux, UNIX, Solaris and Windows and troubleshooting Database problems
·  You are experienced in data Import/Export though XML from different source
·  You should be well versed with Historian system and Crystal Reports
·  Developed interpersonal and communications skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people of a different culture
·  Ability to work effectively and diligently to resolve complex problems and restore database in Emergency situation
·  You have several years of professional experience preferably working on Siemens Spectrum System for control center
·  You are willing to travel globally on projects and are available for on-call duty
