Job description
As an SAP IT Applications Analyst, you willfacilitate support of our Global SAP Financial Accounting solutions to enhancebusiness functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degreeof customer satisfaction. In addition, you will partner with customers toanalyze and define requirements. Analysts in this IT support role will implement,customize, test solutions, write documentation and develop specificenhancements to meet business requirements as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional andtechnical support for SAP Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset,Procure to Pay, FSCM, Credit Management & Collections, Travel, and GLsystems in the capacity of an IT Analyst.
- Deliver end-usersupport utilizing Service Now (help desk) to address IT-related issues.
- Engage in SAP systemconfiguration and support, including integration design, system enhancementdesign, issue resolution, and process improvement.
- Establish and maintaineffective support mechanisms for long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate closelywith business stakeholders to comprehend their requirements and goals, ensuringalignment with IT systems.
- Work in tandem withbusiness and IT representatives to design, implement, and test solutions usingSAP standard functionality.
- Maintain, enhance, and offerupgrade support for SAP FI modules and their integrations based on businessrequirements
- Foster knowledgesharing and collaboration with colleagues and teams.
- Apply critical thinkingskills to prepare test and process documentation as required.
- Desired skill setincludes proficiency in documenting business processes and configuration.
JobQualifications:
- 2-3 years of hands-onexperience in SAP Finance configuration.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalentin a technical or relevant business process area (e.g., Accounting) isrequired. A relevant (e.g., Computer Science, IT, MBA) master’s degree is aplus.
- Possess advancedaccounting skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial processes.
- Strong analyticalskills are a prerequisite for success in this role.
- In-depth knowledge ofSAP Finance solutions, covering end-to-end processes.
- Expertise in SAPConfiguration and Processes, specifically in Accounts Payable, AccountsReceivable, FSCM credit and collections, Fixed Assets, General Ledger,Purchasing, SAP Query, and LSMW.
- Familiarity with SAPpurchasing, Procure to Pay (P2P), and finance implications.
- Proficient in using SAPLSMW and SAP query tools (e.g., SQVI / SQ01) for creating and editing.
- Demonstrated strongpresentation and English communication skills, with the ability to communicateeffectively across all levels of a global organization.
- Self-motivated analystwith a deep understanding of business processes.
- Skilled atcollaborating with personnel and management at all levels on a global scale.
- Strong team player,proactive learner, committed to keeping knowledge and skills up to date, andadaptable to working with team members and end users from diverse backgrounds.
PreferredSkills, Education or Experience:
- Functional andtechnical expertise in Procure to Pay (P2P) and workflows
- Proficiency in the MSOffice Product Suite.
- Familiarity withMicrosoft Teams collaboration platform.
- Experience withWorksoft Certify for efficient test automation.
- Knowledge of qTest foreffective test management.
- Proven experience insupporting SAP user security roles.
- Background in SAP supportfor multiple countries on a global instance.
- Desired skill setincludes hands-on experience in documenting business processes andconfiguration.
WorkingConditions/Physical Requirements:
- Role will be remotewith some flexibility in location.
- Will supportdiscussions in various time zones, so virtual meetings outside of home timezone will be necessary.
- Travel required tosupport customer engagements: < 10%
