Your mission will be…
As a Siemens Smart Infrastructure (Siemens SI) SAP ABAP & CAP Developer, you will be collaborating in a huge and transforming project inside Siemens – Sherpa X.
We are looking for someone with…
- Good knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
- Node.js experience required,
- Java is a plus.
- Making use of the framework in an efficient way
- Keeping up to date with new features SAP introduces
- Confident in trouble shooting and debugging.
- Confident in working with Business Application Studio and using its capabilities.
- Hands on experience with HDI containers and HANA Cloud database
- Basic knowledge of BTP configurations required for Development.
- e.g. - setting up authorizations, consumption of remote services, SAP Build Workzone, logging, etc.
- Experience with additional BTP services is a plus (SAP Build Products, Business Rules, Integration Suite, Advanced Event Mesh, etc.)
- Experience working with Git, CICD Tools and Deployment of web applications.
- Understanding of the basic concepts of Git and making use of them in an efficient manner within the team
- Understanding the concepts behind application deployment and integration
- Experience working with Fiori Elements & oData
- Good understanding of the concepts and benefits of Fiori Elements
- Experience with custom UI5 development is a plus
- Experience testing REST APIs/OData
- Tools e.g. Postman
- General experience with web technologies and cybersecurity is a plus
- Knowledge about authentication methods, OAuth2.0, Kubernetes, etc.
- Experience with automated testing
- Additional Skills and Qualities:
- Performs well in international, diverse teams.
- Familiar with agile methodology
- Reliable and proactive communication
- Result-oriented with a good understanding for quality and maintainability
- Ideally European working hours
