Job description

Become part of our team as “Head of Sales – Part Manufacturing ShopfloorSoftware (m/f/d)” at one of our nationwide locations.

Your new field of activity - challenging and future-oriented

  • You are responsible for theimplementation of a sales strategy, business development, marketing, and asustainable growth (turnover, profit, budget) of the digitalization software portfoliofor part manufacturing shop floor.
  • With your team within SiemensIndustrial Software and in collaboration with the sales partner management, youare expanding the sales activities of our growing machine tools / partmanufacturing software portfolio in China.
  • With the ambitious businessplan in focus, you develop a systematic market and customer approach in Chinadeveloping further the sales team and introducing new products and productcampaigns to the Chinese market.
  • You and your team collaborateand expand collaboration with other Siemens sales teams especially with theregional machine tools sales, service sales as well as PLM and MoM sales teams.
  • You have the driving role inthe development of new business opportunities and plan the activities andcapacities (personnel, turnover, budget) and are responsible for the subsequentimplementation.

Your qualifications - well-founded and adequate

  • You have a degree in, e.g., mechanicalengineering, electrical engineering or similar.
  • You have relevant professional(>10 years) and successful management experience (at least 5 years) withpractice in increasing sales efficiency and growth of new business.
  • You have several years ofrelevant sales experience in software sales with successful track record in theindustrial software domain.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of themanufacturing industry and especially machine tool business is highly welcome.
  • You have proven successfulcollaborating with various internal partners working in larger organizationsand motivating your team and your partners. Experience in internationalcompanies is a plus.
  • Your professional careerproves your ethical business approach and compliance to applicable rules andregulations. 
  • Excellent communication andfluent language skills in Chinese and English complete your profile.
