What do you contribute?
- We supply our international customers with locomotives that comply with country-specific safety standards and approval regulations. When it comes to evaluating safety-relevant functions, you are the expert!
- For example, you evaluate the functionality of the control system, the brakes or the train protection system.
- As a cross-sectional function in electrical engineering, you will work with engineers (m/f/d) from various specialist areas (e.g. system design, software development) to define the technical solutions so that our functional architectures and solutions meet the safety requirements.
- To this end, you will create safety analyses for software and hardware components as well as for integration into the overall system.
- Finally, you will create safety certificates, which are an important prerequisite for vehicle approval.
What do you bring along?
- You have a Master's degree in economics, computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or physics.
- Your profile is characterized by several years of professional experience in the engineering of safety solutions.
- You are familiar with the application of various methods such as Failure Mode Effect Analyses (FMEA/FMEDA) and Fault Tree Analyses (FTA) as well as functional hazard analyses.
- Ideally, you already have knowledge of / experience with the Isograph Reliability Workbench tool (Fault Tree Plus).
- Ideally, you already work according to the following standards from the railroad sector: EN 50126, EN 50657 and EN 50129. Alternatively, you are familiar with parallel standards from the automotive sector or the industrial plant business.
- You communicate confidently in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
