About the Project:

Siemens Mobility is part of the BACS consortium which is responsible for the design and build of Lines 1 and 2 of the Riyadh metro networks.

The scope of work encompasses detailed structural, architectural and transit system design
together with construction, testing, and commissioning of works. our scope also includes the procurement of all Products and materials necessary to support project delivery. We are fully responsible for the design andintegration of the transit systems and the civil infrastructure. Working from the Employers Requirements, the BACS consortium will manufacture, furnish, install, test and commission all components related to both the transit systems and the civil infrastructure.

The Role:

Now we are looking to hire a Route Movements Controller (RMC) to Join our Operations Team possibly soon. The Position holder will perform his/ her duty according to the instructions provided by the BACS
Operations Manager to manage tracks of both Line 1 and Line 2 and authorizes all trainmovements that take place on sections of the railway including the work of contractors.

The work schedule will need to be managed around the priorities set forth by the BACS and under the overall direction of the Temporary Operations Manager.

What are my Responsibilities?

·  Organize and coordinate site logistics activities for Works Trains (WT) and RRV (except the TT within a test area / track) movements and prepare test sites for major testing activities in coordination with access to planning office.
·  Control Track Access and support the WAD and permitting process, coordination of Possession Officer activities during construction, Installation and Dynamic testing works
·  To ensure a safe movement for the operations/testing and grant access permits accordingly. RMC should ensure safe execution of the works on site according to the schedule of work assigned by the Access Planning Office.
·  In case unavoidable circumstances happen, the RMC with the support from the HSE team and / or T&C Operation Team shall provide revised access permits promptly to avoid delays of work progress.
·  The RMC will coordinate and control all Works Trains (WT) and Rail Road Vehicle ( RRV) and maintenance vehicles movements on BACS Lines 1 and 2 to and from the worksite and to control the access , egress and movement of allpersonnel within the operational areas of BACS boundaries.
·  RMC will also be responsible for managing aspects of emergency situations according to the CCRRB. All the activities shall be performed in compliance with BACS safety requirements without any derogation specially the Construction and commissioning Railway Rulebook

What do I need to qualify for this job?

·  Qualification or vocational course from a technical field rounded by a number of years working experience in similar function.
·  The ideal candidate is disciplined & procedural, suitably technically qualified/ licensed to coordinate and control all Works Trains.
·  high standard of English communication skills.Arabic language highly appreciated but not a must
·  High flexibility to work both day andnight shifts of varied durations on site
·  High interests to obtain qualification and license needed to perform tasks and responsibilities
·  This is an excellent Opportunity for Saudi Nationals with first work experience in similar Function.
