As RIC officer you willsupport local Management Board to manage business risks effectively, bycoordinating Risk & Internal Control (RIC) measures and assessments on acountry level, as well as supporting and assisting the adherence to the ERMprocess (identify, assess, respond, monitor & report).
What are myresponsibilities?
- Ensure processes to meetrelevant internal and legal regulations.
- Set up and ensurescompletion of RIC assessments and steers assessor pool.
- Monitor assessments andrecommends measures of remediation to adhere to internal regulations.
- Carry out RIC assessments,and RIC consulting assignments.
- Prepare internal RICreports and reviews for internal stakeholders in business and regionalmanagement.
- Contribute to M&A duediligence processes.
- Cooperate with externalfunctions in accordance with the superior
- Drive and support analysisof strengths and weak points of current business, identify improvement areasand support coordinated target setting across functions.
- Execute RIC trainingslocally.
- Support and assist theadherence to the ERM process (identify, assess, respond, monitor & report)with the primary goal to support the company achieving its business objectivesby addressing material strategic, operational, financial, and compliance-relatedrisks and opportunities.
- Support and control aboutcompleteness and relevance of risk registers, clear assignment ofresponsibilities and appropriateness/follow-up of mitigation measures.
- Prepare annual riskworkshops with management to identify and address new risks and opportunities.
- Facilitate best practicesharing in the responsible organizational unit and beyond.
- Provide transparency onstatus and progress and contributes to reporting and communication.
- Monitor effectiveness ofERM ad hoc process
- Prepare and support ofquarterly Risk- and Internal Control Meetings
- Support Benchmarkingactivities
- Support furtherdevelopment of ERM methodology.
- Hold ERM trainings.
What do I need toqualify for the role?
- Good knowledge ofbusiness, finance, and accounting processes
- Competences in riskanalysis and analytical thinking
- Ability to act goal- andsolution-oriented.
- Be a team player.
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
- Organized, methodical anddetail oriented.
- Experience within Financefunction, ideally in risk management, internal control, or audit function.
