Join our team now in the Corporate Technology division as
Research Scientist (m/f) - Web of Things in München.

Your new role –
challenging and future-oriented

· Research and development in the field of Internet of Things / Web of Things for industrial applications like smart city, smart building, Industry 4.0
· Architecture, design and implementation of innovative prototypes and solutions for Internet of Things / Web of Things with a special focus on constrained devices
· Lead of R&D (sub-)projects and support in project definition and acquisition
· Advising the Siemens internal departments in the use and implementation of Internet of Things / Web of Things technologies
· Guiding Students and PhDs

Your qualifications –
solid and appropriate

· You successfully completed an academic degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent (PhD is a plus)
· Proven knowledge and project experience in the area of IoT/WoT, Internet/Web technologies and communication protocols
· Practical experience in embedded software programming in particular on constrained devices (µC, SoC) using, for instance, C and scripting languages like LUA
· Overall understanding of modern programming languages and paradigms
· Familiarity with the concept of Semantic Web
· Fluent German or English
