Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

• Initiate and develop individual contributions for research projects with focus on simulation of complex systemsthrough the entirePLM-cycleinthe research group 'Production Modeling and Simulation'

• Plan tasks (milestones and effort) and execute technical subprojects within given standards and processes

• Know the trends in the specific technical area ofmodel-based engineering internally and externally and make them available for others

• Contributions to the acquisition of research groupprojects aligned with the head of research group

• Contributions to the development of technology roadmap milestones regardingmodel-based engineering and systems simulation

• Initiate and contribute patents in the specific technical area

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate

• Successfully completed university degree in engineering sciences, physics, or mathematics, PhD is desired

• Minimum ofthree years of related work experience as well as broad appication knowhow

• Strong expertise inmodel-based engineering and in system simulation; tool knowhow of simulation and PLM tools (e.g. NX Nastran, ANSYS, Amesim), state-of-the-art technical knowledge

• Knowledge of software development process and good programming skills in C#/ C++, pythoncombined with knowledge in Matlab/Simulink

• Experience with project work in the research and development area (definition, planning and execution)

• Advanced Englishskills in speaking and writing required, German skills in speaking and writing desired
