We are part of Siemens’Technology (T) Group – the core Research division of Siemens that takes upResearch on Futuristic Topics on all fields related to Siemens Businesses andhelps Siemens provide a better value to customers.

Under T Research, you willbe part of the group Architecture Evolution and Software Innovation. This teamworks on research and transfer of Architecture Guidance for digitalizationsolutions and products leveraging the Siemens Industrial IoT platform.

What do we do?

ASI (ArchitectureEvolution and Software Innovation) focuses on Research in Areas of the Siemensindustrial IoT platform. We work on problems related to Interconnecting ComplexData Models from PLM to create Semantic enabled Data Connectivity in PLM ToolChain that can result in a closed feedback loop. We also investigate transitionof Business based on Legacy Software to Cloud based Business Models and investigatethe architecturally feasible phase wise approach for such a transition.

PositionOverview

We are seeking a motivatedand detail-oriented Research Professional with a Doctorate degree tojoin our dynamic team focused on advancing the field of Generative ArtificialIntelligence for Software Architecture. The successful candidate will workclosely with our research team to contribute to cutting-edge projects thatexplore the intersection of AI and software architecture.

This isyour role. What part will you play?

LiteratureReview

Conduct comprehensiveliterature reviews to stay abreast of the latest developments in Generative AI,Software Architecture, and related fields.

Summarize and synthesizeresearch findings to inform ongoing projects.

AlgorithmDevelopment:

Collaborate with theresearch team to design and implement generative algorithms for softwarearchitecture exploration and optimization.

Analyze and refineexisting algorithms, ensuring their applicability to real-world softwareengineering challenges.

DataCollection and Analysis:

Collect and curatedatasets relevant to software architecture and AI applications.

Perform statisticalanalysis and present findings to support decision-making.

Experimentation andPrototyping:

Develop prototypes andproof-of-concept implementations to test and validate generative AI models.

Iterate on models based onfeedback and empirical results.

Documentation:

Document researchmethodologies, experimental setups, and results.

Prepare clear and concisereports for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaboration:

Collaborate withcross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, anddomain experts.

Participate in teammeetings, providing updates on research progress.

PreferredQualifications
