Objective:

You will work on projects in the field of aeroacoustics and more specifically the Flemish project TUMULT on Random Particle Mesh and Turbulent Boundary Layer models. In addition, you will contribute to the design, development and maintenance of our aero-acoustic solution.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

· Attending meetings with the partners/consortium
· Execution and/or follow-up of technical tasks
· Participation in progress meetings of the projects
· Writing technical reports
· Participation in internal and external technical meetings to discuss new developments
· Help writing software requirements and user manuals
· Contribute to the design and coding of the functions as defined in the software requirements
· Definition of tests and test scenarii to validate the developments
· Participation of investigation of bugs communicated by Customer Support
· Second Level Support

Profile:

· Educational Level: Ph.D. in aero-acoustics, acoustics or fluid dynamics
· Experience:
· Proven experience in aero-acoustics
· Experience in Numerical Analysis/Methods
· Experience in Software Development is a plus.

· Specific technical competencies:
· Good knowledge of Lighthill Analogy and stochastic methods
· Knowledge of research project management
· Interest in software development
· Knowledge of Finite Element or Boundary Elements is considered as an asset

· Languages:
· Advanced knowledge of English (both written and spoken) is required
