Job Description:
Position Overview:
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the post-delivery reliability demonstration and improvement process of various railway projects including light rail vehicles, locomotives, and passenger coaches. The candidate will need to work with various engineers, suppliers, technicians and customer employees to determine the root cause of train delays. Analyzing data provided by the customer, as well as data from the vehicle diagnostic system, and formulating corrective actions if needed. Present analysis to the customer during monthly Failure Review Boards (FRB).
Responsibilities:

Reliability demonstration of all subsystems on the vehicle.
·
Create Mean Distance Between Component Failure (MDBCF) and Mean Distance Between Train Delay (MDBTD) charts from analyzed data.
·
Comply with the project reliability program plan.
·
Perform root cause investigation.
·
Propose corrective actions.
·
Document vehicle availability.
Job Qualification:
·
Preferred 3+ years of related experience in Railway Industry or compatible industry
·
Preferred Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
·
Decision making ability & problem-solving skills
·
Ability to understand electrical schematics and software process diagrams
·
Fluent in English
·
Preferred SQL knowledge
·
Communication & computer skill
·
Experience with data acquisition
·
Job requires 20% travel
