We also work on international projects from our Chippenham headquarters where you will be based in your first year before relocating back to our York project delivery office.

Our graduate development programme is accredited by the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE)”. You will rotate around the business gaining engineering specific competences towards becoming a Chartered Engineer with a recognised professional body.

What are my responsibilities?

· Assist in delivering project engineering work-packages
· Develop knowledge and skills in the preparation of engineering plans, specifications and system design to ensure these are delivered to time, quality, and cost parameters
· Build a working knowledge of our products, systems and strategies for implementation
· Prepare and maintain team resource schedules to identify resource utilisation and work with the Principle Project Engineer to maximize resource utilisation/efficiency
· Participate in the Continuous Improvement of project engineering by identifying efficiencies in project engineering while promoting engineering excellence, through the adoption of new processes tools and methods of working
· Carry out work placements in specified technical and non-technical business functions

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· A minimum 2:1 degree in an engineering, software or technology based subject (essential)
· A bachelor’s or master’s degree which must be accredited towards acquiring Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant professional institution (essential)
· A willingness to learn and ability to innovate. Delivery focused (essential)
· Safety culture aware – to be able to influence and develop an existing safety culture to latest generation thinking and practice (essential)
· Strong and effective communicator across peer group within the company and customers (essential)
· Must be willing to fill gaps in own knowledge and experience through taking a pro-active approach to learning, and seeking information from within and outside the company (essential)
· Aspiration to be a leader or specialist within an engineering environment
