Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

· You design and implementate innovative algorithms in deep learning and artificial intelligence
· You are responsible for the implementation of object detection, classification, reconstruction & segmentation concepts with image, video and 3D data
· You apply state-of-the-art machine/deep learning and computer vision methods to real world problems in various solutions for Intelligent Mobility (e.g., in augmented reality, autonomous driving, video analytics, …)
· You carry out performance evaluation with large scale data sets
· You are responsible for rapid prototyping of prototypes and solutions
· Your tasks include on-the-road experimenting and bringing your innovations to work in the real world
· You lead and conduct advanced R&D to shape new Siemens prototypes & products

Your qualifications – solid and appropriate

· You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent
· You have 3+ years of development and prototyping experience in large, high-quality software systems or an equivalent degree in a related area
· You have hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge in Machine Learning and Computer Vision
· You have a strong theoretical and practical background in computer vision or machine learning with proven record in research and innovative thinking
· You can show excellent C/C++ and Cuda programming skills and you are proficient with scripting languages (e.g., Python), computer vision related libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PCL) and machine/deep learning tools (e.g. Caffe, TensorFlow)
· You possess passion for quality products, software development principles and best practices
· Strong problem solving skills, excellent communication, teamwork and technical writing skills complete your profile
· Experience and passion for managing larger projects as well as experience in cloud based machine learning concepts are a plus
