For the R&D team “Electrical Client User Models” we are looking for a person for the development of our wind turbine electrical simulation models, as well as taking part in the future development and design of our electrical simulation model platform. The R&D team develops a number of different electrical simulation models for the Siemens Wind Turbines which are used in grid connection studies, grid code compliance studies and other electrical system studies.

What are my responsibilities?

As a Team member in the R&D department, you will be required to work individually and in small groups with a number of different tasks concerning electrical modeling of wind turbines.

Working assignments will include, but will not be limited to:

· Development of electrical simulation models in various simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink, DigSilent PF, PSCAD

· Implementation of wind turbine functions/features into the simulation model platform

· Benchmarking and validation of the developed simulation models

· Investigate and analyze wind turbine functions/features in relation to the connected grid systems

What do I need to qualify for this job?

· You have an education within Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience within the development of electrical simulation models

· Further experience within control systems and electrical system designs/studies is an advantage

· Experience with the simulation tools of Matlab/Simulink is a requirement

· If you have experience with other simulation tools such as Siemens PSS/E, DigSilent Power factory and PSCAD/EMTDC it will be an advantage

· An overall electrical understanding is required including knowledge and experience within wind turbines is an advantage

· You are a dedicated team player and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment

· You possess fluency in spoken and written English
