As Quality Manager-Engineer (QA/QC engineer) you’ll be responsible for regular quality inspections in our factories and ensure that our tailor-made equipment meets our quality standards. If a quality problem occurs, it is the quality manager-engineers responsibility to think critically and come up with a solution. You work in close cooperation with a senior quality specialist. You will support project teams in case of quality issues by:
- Leading or participate in problem solving
- Solving the issue in a timely manner and to customer satisfaction
- Create quality policies and regulations for quality checking of our produced equipment
- Collect and analyse data, perform Root Cause Analysis, write reports
- Using and explaining quality solving methods
- Supporting with implementation of improvements to meet standards in our factories and project teams
- Communicate with stakeholders (project teams, production facility, customers)
- Developing and monitoring corrective measures for quality issues.
- Defining preventive quality controls to prevent reoccurrence.
In our projects, we design and deliver power distribution solutions to our national and international customers. The project management and engineering team is based in The Hague. Production of our products and equipment is taking place in multiple factories in different countries. A typical project scope includes switchgear, transformers, E-houses, automation and protection systems.
You will convince us by your:
- Technical bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Eye for detail, curious mind and able to deep dive and investigate issues.
- Problem solving experience (8D, A3, RCA) and risk management (FMEA).
- Preventive quality (lessons learned, A3, controls).
- Relevant experience as a quality engineer within electrical and mechanical industry; inspection, auditing, and testing.
- Certification in quality control and experience in implementing corrective and preventive measures.
- Willing to travel internationally (EU passport required).
- Dutch and English speaking.
