We are looking for a highly motivated Quality Assurance engineer to work in the RET team in the Calibre business unit. You will be responsible for the qualification of core RET modeling and calibration functions of the Calibre suite of tools, including the design, development, and execution of application specific functional and regression tests used to measure the quality, robustness, performance, supportability, and usefulness of these products. The individual will work closely with the software application developers and product marketing team to help deliver timely product releases that effectively meet our customer's needs.
• Providing all stakeholders with appropriate regression reports in a timely manner.
• Developing all necessary artifacts, scripts, or tools that improve the overall job effectiveness and efficiency. Knowledge of basic optimization procedures, experience in modeling of some relevant physical processes and experience in EDA will weigh in favorably in the hiring process.
Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
• MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating system environments required
• Knowledge of shell scripting and interpreted software languages (Perl, Tcl/Tk, or Python) are important skills required to be effective in this job.
• Knowledge of optimization or calibration of models (not necessarily for problems related to RET/OPC) will weigh in favorably
• Individuals with strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and who are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem-solving skills are preferred.
• Prior knowledge of and experience with the physical processes that are modeled in lithography, although not required, will weigh in favorably.
• Must have the ability to collaborate closely with other members of the team and develop critical components consistently and in a timely manner.
• The candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of software quality assurance processes and experience with maintaining regression test suites is highly desirable.
• Able to thrive and improve in a multifaceted multi-site fast-paced development environment.
• The candidate must be able to work at the MGC facilities in Fremont, CA

The salaryrange for this position is $101,200 to $182,200 and this role is eligible toearn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on thesuccessful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, includingjob-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
