We are looking for a Proposal Manager for Medium Voltage ElectricalSolutions to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Electrification& Automation area.

Your Challenge

As Proposal Manager for MV Electrical Solutions your mission willbe to manage the whole bid phase ensuring high quality of the offers from MVsystems, including MV switchgears, to turnkey projects.

Some of themain activities will be:

• Preparation and coordination of complete offers, according to the Customer and Company’s requirements, with a periodical reporting of the status and strategy to management.
• Analysis of customer’s requests, and specifications, identifying the scope of supply and the risks to ensure an accurate offer evaluation and cost calculation.
• Technical review of proposal based on design to cost, in collaboration with execution team or other team’s member, to exploit potential profit and margin increase.
• Coordination and management of all internal and external Stakeholders (Sales, Procurement, Execution, third parties and internal cross division) to ensure a consistent offer regarding: Technical, Contractual, Pricing, Risk analysis and Safety issues.
• Collaborate with Head-Quarter, Factories, Regional Countries and with the Products Managers
• Participate in internal and/or external kickoff meetings as required to facilitate the smooth transfer of orders.
• Develop customers knowledge and relationships, supporting the dedicated Sales cluster(s) and with specific meetings at customer’s premises when required.

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

• Proven experience as proposal manager in electrical/electrotechnical discipline
• Proven experience in MV Electrical Solutions, medium voltage substations, prefabricated and turnkey solutions
• Experience on management of tenders for public customer (utilities, multi-utilities and DSO) and EPCs
• Knowledge on Primary and Secondary medium voltage switchgears
• Curiosity on new technologies and smart problem solution
• Education background in electrical or electrotechnical
• Excellent Italian language and fluent professional English, both written and spoken
• Availability for business trips on national level, and sometimes also international
• Passion to never-stop growing
• Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge
• Eligibility to work in Italy
