About the segment
Siemens Simulation & TestSolutions is looking for a Project Test Engineer in the areas of Simcenter 3Dand Nastran products. This position entails testing and deploying production ofSimcenter 3D applications.
Main objective is to Test new features in Simcenter 3D andNastran, Siemens’ flagship CAE software program.
Knowledge and understanding of Quality and Testingconcepts (Autotest and Unit Test framework)
You will be a part of an Agile team using Scrummethodology.
About the role
Learn theAgile Scrum process, values & actively participate as member of a Scrumteam.
Create,design new Epic/Capability test plans to meet acceptance criteria and satisfystakeholders.
Design testcases listed in the Epic test plan.
Conducttesting of projects and sign-off on time.
Performsystem level testing during Product Validation.
Developknowledge and become technical expert for multiple Simulation Modules.
Design andimplement new training courses and tutorials for fellow testers and assist ingenerating technical documentation.
Ensure thatCode Coverage Analysis techniques are used to validate complete functionality.
Improve testspecifications by analysing the root causes of technical issues and developtesting solutions for those root causes.
Create andapply new approaches as necessary to improve the productivity and efficiency oftesting.
Work withstakeholder to acquire industrial data for testing purposes.
Cross trainScrum team members in testing concepts and techniques.
Workcollaboratively with Scrum team members to deliver product increments inSprints and capabilities in a release which adheres to team and organizationalDefinition of Done.
Your qualifications
Minimum Master’s degree or Bachelor with experiencesin Mechanics, Aerospace, E-Mag or Computer Engineering
CAE software experience required
Knowledge of Agile required
Moderate level of experience using MS Windows required
Good written and verbal English skills
Preferred:
Experience of testing an engineering software is aplus
Experience of using NX/Simcenter 3D products is a plus
Experience of using Finite Element solvers is a plus
Experience of coding language, such as Fortran, C,C++, Python is a plus
Moderate level of experience using UNIX or Linux is aplus
